In this third episode of the Iran Music Project Podcast, we meet Arash Sobhani, a New York-based Iranian musician. Arash grew up listening to classic rock in Iran during a time when music was effectively forbidden. He describes the triumphs and struggles of his musical journey: from starting his first underground rock band at age 16, to bargaining for music permits with the Islamic Republic, to taking his music overseas.
